Anthony’s Birthday Fundraiser for Kids with Cerebral Palsy

Hi everyone!

Anthony, my Tatay, is celebrating his 50th birthday this year! And if you know him pretty well, you know na mahirap siya bigyan ng regalo. Haha! But you may also know that my Tatay, despite his panga and tough facade, also has a heart of a mamon. He's a very generous man especially towards those who are in need. So Mama and I thought that this might be the perfect gift for him -- a donation on his behalf for the young patients of National Children's Hospital who has Cerebral Palsy.

My cousin, Gabie, a resident doctor at NCH, has brought up that their cerebral palsy patients (mostly 5-10 years old) are in need of strollers and wheelchairs, which are harder to afford because of its cost. One of the biggest effects of this disease is the disability to move without assistance. This is why strollers & wheelchairs are very important for these kids.

Our goal is to reach Php 25,000 to buy and donate 5 strollers & 5 wheelchairs for the kids who can't afford them. So instead of buying gifts for Tatay, we suggest that we just use the money as donation to NCH. OR if you have old strollers & wheelchairs, that would be great, too! We are almost 100% sure that Tatay would appreciate this (and your presence on his celebration!!) more than any material gift :)

We'll be announcing how much funds we raise on his surprise birthday dinner on Sunday!
