Campaign Story
I hope you are all doing just fine these days.
Anne, as we lovingly call her, was initially diagnosed with Uterine AVM (alteriovenous malformation) and multiple adenomyoma last July 2022 which caused excessive and unusual bleeding. A tumor as big as a fist was found in her uterus. She was in and out of the hospital and had undergone a total hysterectomy to get rid of the tumor.
A biopsy and was done and final diagnosis is that she has a rare and aggressive type of cancer, uterine sarcoma.
She also went through a PET scan and it showed that the cancer has already metastasized to her ovaries and lymph nodes. Her cancer is now graded stage 4B.
She had undergone 10 chemotherapies and would be needing 2 more, genetic testings and a possible radiation therapy.
Despite the very daunting road to recovery, Anne keeps her brave face on as a very hardworking mom and a good mom to her 2 grade-school kids.
I am reaching out to everyone who could send some assistance and positive energy to Anne and her family.
Thank you for your generosity and please stay healthy.
