Anne as a Dreamer and as an Achiever

Hi there! My name is Anne Jenica Genes Daymiel. A graduate of AB Linguistics and Literature in the University of San Carlos, Cebu City. Born leader with an INTJ (introversion, intuition, thinking, judgment) type of personality. It has been my dream to study and practice Law and given my degree, I believe that I have a lot of potential to be a successful lawyer someday.

Let me tell you a funny and true story first. When I was a freshman in high school, on the first day of class, my history teacher asked all of us about our dreams. He asked us one by one. Most of my classmates' dreams were simple like becoming a doctor, teacher, musician, etc. When it was finally my turn to talk, the room went silent (since most of them already knew each other and I was the newbie), and so I began talking. "To be a governor of Zamboanga del Norte (our province)", I said. Everybody laughed but I was serious and I didn't really take it as a joke. However, my teacher said that it could be possible and so the crowd went silent again.

When I went to college, my dream got even bigger. "I want to be the president in our country someday" and I even had a classmate who used to call me "Pres" which is short for President. Until now, my dream to lead and to learn about the laws in our country never wavered.

I have been given multiple chances in leadership ever since I was in high school. I was the Supreme Student Government President, the Corps Commander in our CAT, and the editor-in-chief in our school paper. During college, I also spent most of time with our religious organization participating in activities and committees during conferences. Unfortunately, my family cannot afford to send me for another degree so, aside from my salary now as a Senior Recruitment Officer in a call center company, I would like to, maybe, grab this chance to ask from your kind heart any amount (or even Law books!) that could help me fulfill my dream and become a future Attorney Daymiel.

Crazy as some dreams may be, but I believe that it only becomes crazy if you don't do something about it. I have seen people rise from rags to riches and that's how I know that these "crazy dreams" we, sometimes, joke about can actually come true!
