Anne Cayetano’s Fight Against Cancer

Earlier this 2018, Anne Cayetano constantly experienced chest pain and cough. She only had the chance to visit the hospital to have a checkup this July, and unfortunately, when she went back to get her medical records and chest x-ray, the doctor mentioned her the masses that were present in her lungs. She was then referred to San Juan De Dios Hospital to visit a pulmonologist and an oncologist. On July 7, it was confirmed that she has germ cell tumor, thymoma, and lung metastasis.

Anne is a single mother of two (a nineteen year old daughter and a fourteen year old son) who both had to stop attending school because of her illness. The family of Anne showed no interest in helping her financially. Hence we decided to open a gofundme page for her to seek help from those who can.

The oncologist recommended radioactive therapy and chemotherapy. However as mentioned above, she doesn't have enough income to pay for her treatment.

On July 7, she was admitted in the Lung Center of the Philippines. After 2 days of staying in the hospital, her bill is already P35,000. Yesterday, July 8, she underwent through several laboratory tests, such as a stomach citiscan and two biopsy. We have yet to confirm how much is her current bill.

We hope to reach our gofundme goals within a week so that she can start her medication as soon as possible.
