On January 25, 2018, Anna's 63-year-old mother fell and injured her hip while doing home improvement work. Her mother had to have hip surgery and now the money that was going to be used for Anna's school tuition and other funds was allocated to her mother's medical bills. Anna lives in Arequipa, Peru and has no tuition for this coming semester and currently attends Universidad Catolica San Pablo studying for her Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering. In the year I've known Anna, she's a wonderful person. She's funny, smart, kind, and deserves a little help to further her education. Any amount counts!
