Anna vs Liposarcoma and Leah vs Renal disease

OVER a year ago, my youngest sister, Leah, put up this campaign to request for financial assistance for my sister, Anna Veronica, who was then admitted at St. Luke's Medical Center, Global City, following the surgical procedure removing 4 tumors in the abdominal/pelvic areas. These tumors are a recurrence of her cancer, liposarcoma which had been diagnosed last April 2020, followed by a surgery back in May 18, 2020, removing tumors also in the abdominal area. Back then, she was stage 4, dedifferentiated, pleomorphic liposarcoma. A very rare and aggressive cancer of the fatty cells. Sadly, the same cancer recurred and in Nivember 2020, she underwent a 10 hour surgery, which resulted to a permanent ostomy bag, and shorter small intestines.

For the past 5 years, my sister has had several medical conditions and procedures. In 2016 she ws diagnosed with another type of cancer known as leiomyosarcoma, followed by a complete hysterectomy in the same year. She had 6 cycles of chemotherapy later resulting to cardiomyopathy and heart failure in 2017.

The above mentioned medical conditions for the past 5 years of our sister Anna along with the medical conditions of other family members - (our Dad had quadruple bypass in Feb. 2020 and our Mom was also admitted to the hospital in Feb. and was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer with brain metastases, and readmitted to the hosptal last October due to brain seizure) have totally wiped out our family's finances which was also affected by the pandemic.

We lost our mother, Faye, to cancer last July 19, 2021. and shortly after, Anna, Papa and our brother, Peter caught covid. They have all recovered since then.

Anna has been placed on palliative home care since November 2021. Our family's goal is to keep her comfortable during her remaining days. The last month has been a roller coaster ride for all of us, with her blood pressure dropping to just 40 yesterday, no diastolic, and rate of respiration went as low as 5. But in the afternoon until today, her vitals showed improvement with bp as high as 100/80, rate of respiration at 17, o2 at 97 and oulse at from 167 to 117.

Anna continues to fight. She told us that if given the choice, she would still want to live. However, it is all up to God.

We also still need help, financially, to support her medical needs. On top of this, Leah, our youngest sister also needs continued treatment for her kidneys because she has started expelling blood in her urine.

Our goal amount for both, Anna's and Leah's needs amount to Php750,000.00. Please help us reach this amount.

We are aware that sooner or later, Anna will also go. But Leah has a 2 year old daughter and a 5 month old son. We are struggling to cover all our family's medical needs as all the medical issues which have beset our family have totally wiped out our family's capacity to support medical treatments and medications, financially.
