Anna’s Going to Mexico!

The purpose of this GoGetFunding page:

      This past summer I got the opportunity to travel to Juxtlahuaca, Mexico (about eight hours south of Mexico City). Last year we partnered with the Arroyo family’s local church, Gracia Abundante (abundant grace), where we held medical clinics, painted the in’s and out’s of the church, and loved & served the local community. The trip was one of the best experiences of my life because my heart and eyes were opened up to the beautiful realities of Jesus and his heart for me, for my team, the Triqui people, the Mixtecos, and really everyone around me.

      This summer I have been so blessed with the ability to go on the trip again. From June 18-29, a mixed generation team from Belmont Church will be travelling again to Juxtlahuaca, Mexico to partner with the Arroyos. The Arroyo’s are an incredible missionary family living in a place where they are being the hands and feet of Jesus every day. I've honestly been waiting for this trip all year long, and God has been so sweet as to give me another opportunity to go on such a remarkable trip.

What will I be doing on this trip?

      Our main goal on this trip is to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We’ll be doing this by spreading love and being general servants of God’s grace. Tactile ways we will be doing this is by performing medical outreaches, children’s ministry, community rebuilding projects in flood damaged areas, and any other tasks the Arroyo’s need us to do.

What can you do to help?

      Financial Provision: The trip is about 1,200 including all airfare, in-country bus travel, food and water, lodging, team ministry, and trip insurance. As a full time college student, I could definitely use some financial provision, and any little bit helps.

      Prayer: There is real power in prayer. There are a lot of things that can be prayed about, like financial provision for all members of the team, safety, the ability to really be servants for Jesus, etc. If you cannot contribute financially, prayer is very much appreciated and a huge part of our trip. If you can contribute financially, prayer is still appreciated not only by me, but by the team.

      Personal Check: A personal check payable to Belmont Church with Mexico Team in the memo line. If you choose to send a check please email [email protected] so I can give you the information on where to send the check! But as a last resort the money can come…

       In Person (if absolutely necessary): If you cannot do it online, or send a personal check, I can take the money face-to-face. This may be slightly risky just because there is a slight, slight chance of it getting lost in translation. But if this is how you can contribute, that is totally fine!

Final Thoughts:

        Juxtlahuaca and the people there have made their mark on my heart, and I’m so so excited to go again. With your help I will be able to make it there. I strongly believe God always provides, so I am putting my trust in Him. Thank you for any contribution you can make – prayer or financial.
