EDUCATING CHILDREN AT UHURU MCHANGANYIKO PRIMARY SCHOOL Uhuru Mchanganyiko Primary school is one of the oldest in Tanzania. It was established in 1921 in Dar es salaam and was the first to accept children with disabilities alongside other children in the classroom. Some of the girls and boys are blind, some are deaf blind and some have learning disabilities. They board at the school where there is no provision for them in their local area.   The motto of the school is: "Change is development, education, discipline and love to all". The school's vision is to enable pupils to recognise available opportunities within their environment for their own development.   We have two teachers so far for two groups of children and hope to recruit a third. Internet connectivity is variable and we are hoping that soon we will be delivering regular classes three times weekly
