Animals Of Our World

Together, we set out of our travels almost one year ago. Almost straight away our trip become focused on helping as many animals as we could. Every place we visited we would be sure to leave a little good behind. Going back to the very beginning we started feeding the strays who were struggling and searching for food. This soon turned into taking animals to receive medical care and giving stray animals general care ourselves. Wether it was giving baths, hair cuts, cleaning, defleaing, deworming or treating them for ticks. We threw ourselves into the rescue life very, very quickly. Soon enough we were sheltering animals and rehabilitating them at our hostels and then rehoming. Backpacking through South East Asia we met a lot of different animals, and we have memories we shared with most. It didn't matter where we would visit, beautiful waterfalls, incredible treks through the jungle, interesting visits to temples... there was a much bigger distraction. Something that couldn't be ignored. The sites ruined for us by the surroundings. The distress and suffering of dogs and cats neglected. Orphan kittens on the side of the road, dogs with three legs, cats with no eyes, dogs with no fur and covered In mange, dogs poisoned, puppy's infested with fleas and ticks. The hardest being those who have already given up hope.
