Animals Need Your Help

On our island the majority of people have animals but unfortunately don't take care of them as they should. There are many starving and stray animals. Also many neglected ones. It breaks my heart and brings tears to my eyes. I've since started MR Cares. We have been in operation for a year now.

We go around feeding our many, many strays and help animals in any way we can.

First photo is me with a horse who has an illness but we are working on helping him.

An elderly lady reached out to us with stray cats she was kind enough to rescue, that just kept having kittens. We've paid to get a few of them spade and neutered. But more are needed to be done before they breed again.

We've also purchased cat food for them. But more is needed. She feeds them what she can when she has scraps but some days she doesn't and cat food is needed. She doesn't have the heart to just put them down. Understandable as they are lovely, friendly cats.

The other photo is one close to my heart. Because it's such a desperate case. Not much needs to be said. The dog Lizzy, is sick, starving, and malnourished. We are trying to get her weight up first then take her to the vet. Help is definitely needed.

There's also the countless, starving strays we feed a few times per week.

We have much more cases, I'm looking into all those and will be posting.

UPDATE:

WE HAVE SINCE PAID FOR A VET TO COME AND SEE LIZZY. SHE WAS GIVEN A SHOT FOR HER SCURVY, ANTIBIOTICS, AND VITAMINS THAT WILL HELP HER SKIN. SHE HAS SINCE BEEN LOOKING BETTER IN ONLY A FEW DAYS 😊 LIZZY IS ALSO MALNOURISHED, BUT WE ARE OF COURSE FEEDING HER. SHE HAS SINCE PUT ON WEIGHT AND HER SKIN IS CLEARING UP AND SHE'S SCRATCHING LESS.
