Animal Sanctuary

Hello,

My name is Loredana. I was born and raised in Romania. Since 2017 I came to UK to work and raise money to fulfill my biggest dream : to build an animal sanctuary.

With some money i raised i managed to buy a small piece of land. I have now realised i cannot do this on my own. This is a big project that requires funds that i cannot afford.

This is the reason i NEED to do this:

In Romania we have laws for animal cruelty (not good enough)but the system is so broken and corrupted that thousand of animals are dying in ways that are hard to imagine. In the public shelters the conditions are horrible. The animals are not being fed or treated because the money are in someone elses pockets.

Unfortunately this is the reality in Romania: horses badly beaten and left to die because they were too emacited and tired to work the field, stray dogs used as bait, stray cats and dogs abused on the streets. We still have a long way to go until people will be educated enough to understand animals are not a toys to buy for Christmas and abandon in the woods when you get bored, until people won't let their dog breed with a stray dog, until the Government will care enough to make better laws and check what happens with the money they direct to public shelters.

Please help me help the animals!
