Containing over 300 dogs, ART rescues dogs from the streets of India, each with their own tragic story. Being beaten, boiled, or run over. Animal Rescue Trust gives these dogs a new start and a place to call home even with their debts drastically growing daily. They hope to one day change Indian’s attitudes towards animals.

Due to COVID crisis, we're struggling really hard financially to overcome shelter expenses. This shelter runs on charity and donation of kind people. Animal Rescue Trust is the ultimate home for stray dogs. Not only do we provide shelter but also do vaccinations, provide treatment and work toward enriching the life of stray dogs. We get numerous calls daily and try to help and bring in as much as we can with the limited resources available.

With so many dogs constantly arriving at Animal Rescue Trust, the dog shelter is in constantly increasing debt - currently well over $10,500. With dogs being seen more as pests in India, it is difficult to raise funds to keep these dogs alive, castrated, and away from the streets and common abuse.

Every donation helps the sheltering a variety of ways including but not limited to: cooking for, feeding, paying for rescue transport, providing a shelter for, and maintain a loving home for these dogs.

No matter how small of a donation, you could be saving a dogs life from stories like below:

1. 23rd September 2021

The owner said he was away when she escaped and ran out of the gate where she lived. She was severely beaten by children and was driven to the vet clinic for 2 days but her health got progressively worse. The owner then brought her to Animal Rescue Trust, and left.

2. 22nd August 2021

These two puppies were found stray in Uttar Pradesh. The people who saved these puppies could not find anywhere in the city to take them to so Animal Rescue Trust took them on. Without the dog shelter, they would've still been living on rural streets.

3. 24 March 2020

This dog arrived at Animal Rescue Trust with two severely injured paws which had been boiled by boiling water. We rushed Belyana to the vets for emergency amputation where she thankfully made a steady recovery. Without the help of donations, we would never be able to afford to save suffering dogs like these.

Help us help the homeless pets!! With your help we're able to reach the goal every year and help many animals,

THANK YOU!!!
