Hello and welcome to our fundraiser for the mountain community here in the San Bernardino Mountains.
As some of you may know, the only "shelter" or Humane Society on the mountain is in the Big Bear area. If the animals are not in this area then they are picked up and taken off the mountain to Devore Animal Shelter. Our goal is to help the community here on the mountain and make it easier for them to find their pets when lost, stolen, or picked up from the streets.
Animal Alliance Rescue Foundation, San Bernardino is a 501c3 non profit foundation dedicated to helping the animals on and off the streets. We believe that in order to lower the intake of animals in the kill shelters is to first intercept them on the streets.
With Euthanasia rates climbing each year from animals being brought into the local or county pounds, being surrendered by their owners, hoarding cases, neglect and abuse cases, and even those in the hands of dog fighting. These things need to be addressed and the animals need a safe haven to go to so they have a chance - rather than being put to death.
With this new facility we will be able to help aid the community in spay/neuter, training, community outreach (keeping their animals safe), intercept, senior to senior, transport, and help with low cost boarding/pet sitting for both the community and fellow rescues.
We will have our own kitchen to prepare and make the foods animals crave, versus the commercially forced products that are now being recalled for things that are killing your pets.
If you would like to help in the huge life changing event for the animals in the mountains of San Bernardino, please donate today, volunteer, or help spread the word about how these wonderful animals are finally going to have a life they deserve.
Thank you and please watch for the updates as they will come each week (Saturday). <3
Love and many blessing to you ALL !! Teamwork Makes The Dreamwork :)
