Animal Aware needs your help in May

Animal Aware started out in the 1980s organizing low-cost spay/neuter days in Antigua Guatemala, Central America. Now, after several transformations, AWARE still holds spay/neuter days for the local community, and also runs a shelter just outside Sumpango, currently housing some 400 animals. AWARE receives no government support, and survives entirely thanks to the generosity of animal-loving people. The object of this campaign is to raise USD400. Every little helps. Animal Aware inició su trabajo en los años 1980´s, organizando campañas de castración a bajo precio en Antigua Guatemala, Centro América. Ahora, después de varios cambios, AWARE continúa realizando campañas de castración para las comunidades cercanas; además, en el refugio ubicado en las afueras de Sumpango, alberga a más de 400 animales. AWARE no cuenta con apoyo gubernamental y se sostiene gracias a donaciones de personas amantes de los animales. El objetivo de esta campaña es reunir $500 para ayudar al refugio. Cualquier donación, aun cuando sea pequeña, ayuda.
