Angioplasty Surgery Funds for Jun Lim

My Siblings and I decided to create this campaign to seek medical assistance for our father, Augusto Lim, Jr. (AKA Jun Lim) age of 53, to pursue his medical/surgical treatment in Philippine Heart Center.

Our dad is a former Seafarer for more than a decade who provided our needs.

Last July 4, 2016, He was rushed at a local hospital in Marinduque due to severe chest pain and shortness of breath. After undertaking some laboratory tests, it resulted to Acute Myocardial Infarction (heart attack in layman's term) and UTI. One of the big factors of his heart attack was being a chainsmoker.

We decided to brought him to Manila to seek for 2nd opinion and further tests. He got confined in Perpetual Las Piñas and undergone, angiogram July 30, 2016. The result was Non-Obstructive Coronary Artery Disease with 30-40% blockage. Since then, he maintained medicines, exercise and regular check-up.

A year has passed, but he is still experiencing chest pain from time to time. December 2017, we went to Philippine Heart Center to look for another doctor to check his condition and he was advised to undergo angiogram again, scheduled Dec 28, 2017. As a result, he was diagnosed with Coronary Artery Disease with 80% blockage. Papa didn’t mind it, he continued taking his meds prescribed by his new doctor, with daily exercise and the usual check-up every 3 months.

Last June 2018 during his check-up, he complained his chest pain again. Doctor advised him to undergo Thallium Stress Test, scheduled July 10, 2018. The doctor concluded that he needs to undergo Coronary Angioplasty as soon as possible.

The doctor advised us to prepare more than ₱300,000.00 for the procedure and hospital bills. We are financially insufficient to provide for his surgery thus we are seeking for help to raise such amount. No matter how small or big your contribution is, it will be deeply appreciated.
