The Angel's Home Initiative is a project run by a group of first-year students at Inscape Education group (Pretoria Campus). The goal of the initiative is to raise funds to help orphaned children based in Hammaskraal, South Africa. The orphans are based at a local Pastor's residential property, however, as more and more children are refuged into the home, less and less space becomes available for them. After reaching out and offering assistance, a plea was made to raise enough funds to construct an extension of the property in order to properly accommodate the children. Contact was made with construction teams, and a total sum of R27 000 (USD1650) was calculated.
As of this moment, there are 15 children being accommodated in the home.
So no, it is not a Government Recognised Orphanage, or Safety home that receives any kind of assistance from established institutions. These are people who are trying to help their community, and have taken the burden of caring for these abandoned children. The Pandemic has made things much harder, and uncertain. All the more reason for us to help!
Help us achieve our goal, and help those in need.
