Angela & Tom’s Wedding

Hi there, my name is Angela, and my fiance' is Tom. We are currently planning a wedding for March 9, 2014 in our hometown of Tulsa, OK. We have a budget of $2000 to complete this wedding, which is small for some, but pushing the financial envelope for us! When we started on this trek, we had no idea that we would be confronted with a suprise preganancy that gave us our wonderful daughter, or sudden medical bills from two seperate emergency room visits! (Eek!) Thank goodness, everyone is safe and home healthy, but now out financial situation has significantly changed. We are attempting to pay for this wedding ourselves, as the economy hasnt been kind to our families' employment status', but also do not want to compromise our ability to house, feed, and clothe our small family.

I have cut out almost all of what i wanted originally for a dream wedding, to meet this modest budget, but still want to be able to hold a celebration recognizing our official union in front of family and close friends.

Should we raise more money than what is needed for a basic ceremony, I will donate the proceeds 50/50 to St Jude Children's Research Hospital and to Wounded Warrior to support treatment and recovery of wounded American veterans.

I understand that this is not the most noble cause for donations, but thank all from the bottom of my heart who are able to contribute.
