Poate pentru multi, ele sunt doar doua nume care nu ne spun nimic, dar pentru noi, odata ce le-am cunoscut, nu mai pot ramne doar doua straine. Drama lor a inceput cu mult timp in urma pe cand Angela era casatorita. Sotul ei a abuzat-o fizic prin batai repetate, de o intensitate extraordinara. Ajungand la limitele puterii si-a parasit sotul impreuna cu cele doua fice ale ei si a preferat sa doarma sub cerul liber, intre vii, decat sa mai continue in iadul in care traia. Si pentru o vreme asta s-a si intamplat. A dormit sub cerul liber impreuna cu cele doua fete minore ale sale. Dupa un timp a reusit sa obtina o bucata de pamant de la soacra sa, pamant pe care sa isi construiasca o casa si sa tina niste animale, sa duca o viata decent impreuna cu fiicele ei. Marea problema pentru ele era ca pamantul a fost doar atat, pamant. Fara o casa, fara un grajd, fara un copac, fara nimic. Situatia ei nu se imbunatatise cu mult. The big problem for them was that the land was just that, land. Without a house, without a stable, without a tree, without anything. Her situation had not improved much. Then, the only thing she could do was to build something to have a roof over his head. I say that she built something, because what she managed to do cannot be called a house. In the meantime, one of her daughters got married and she was the only one left with her youngest daughter, Vali.

Now they both live in that hut that she built with her own hands, without a floor, laying some carpets directly on the ground, the bedroom and the bathroom being one and the same thing, not having space to even move. With many sacrifices, she started a second room for her daughter, who meanwhile grew up and needs her privacy. This practical space is a small lean-to attached to the room they had together, with a large opening between them so they could both warm up. This is because it only has one stove in the main room. You can't even talk about the bathroom. Does not exist. Improvisations are all they have. Her income is around 1000 RON per month, a disability pension she has, a disability inherited from her husband's beatings. Money she uses to keep his daughter in school and for food. Angela was diagnosed with brain cancer and the doctors refused to operate on her due to the complexity of the disease and its advanced stage. However, the miracle is that she is still alive and perfectly lucid. The only things she has in this world are faith in God, a girl and a hut.
