Judith Horntvedt came to Norway as a teenager from Zambia as the result of a close friendship between a Norwegian woman and Judith’s mother. This journey led Judith straight into the pathway of her life’s mission.
Judith were born with a voice to make a difference and are now working within the politics in Norway to improve the Norwegian society.
That is absolutely impressive but this woman brings more of impressive things to the table and this is where this fundraise comes in.
About a year ago Judith started a school for kids in Zambia. The school is reserved for kids who’s parents are not able to financially support a educational program and secure the future of their children. The school right now have 92 amazing kids, hungry to learn and to improve their future paths.
There are many more kids stepping in the doorway to come in and before we can let more kids in we need to expand the school with another classroom.
The school already runs a full educational program for the kids but there are still many necessities missing. To provide the best possible education and to build a solid foundation for further growth we have now set up a public fundraiser where anyone of you have the opportunity to support the future of these magical lil beings and many more to come.
Here is a opportunity for you take part not only in these children`s future but the entire future development of this African village.
The amount of the actual fundings is calculated to provide the school with the following facilities:
• A new builded classroom
• Solarplates / Electricity
• Kitchen - Grinder/Equipment/Cooking stall
• Educational books
• Salary to the teachers
Mayaki Caritas is a Norwegian registered nonprofit organisation and all money raised for the project will be directly invested in the project by the management of the organisation and operated by their team in Zambia.
