I’m a 15 year old girl from Estonia and my name is Anette Pattik. My biggest wish is to go to an exchange year to UK, what is organized by ASSE Estonia NGO.
At school I make school news feed, help to organize events and help out teachers. Sport is very important to me, especially volleyball, running and yoga. Alongside to school I earn pocket money by teaching math to a primary class girl.
A year at UK would give me English practice, new knowlendge and experience from a sixth form school, I get to see their culture and architecture, find new friends for life.
To get elected for an exchange year, you have to get through language test and an interview, which i have completed. After that begins the search for a host family, finding sponsors(if neccecary), getting ready for the exchange year and informational lessons.
There was a scholarship essay competition which took place in March. I was rewarded with 1000 euros.
The participation fee is 9000 euros but I need 6000 by 15th of April. I have gathered 1000 euros plus the scholarship. When I can't get the money by that time there is a chance that the exchange year is moved to next year, or in worst case, cancelled.
I have send out thousand sponsorship letters but it seems that there are not many companies or people, who have the chance to help. So I'm here to ask your help. Every euro counts, so I’m grateful for every, even a small investment, which brings me closer to my goal.
If you have any questions I'm glad and always ready to answer. My email is [email protected] or message me on Facebook.
To make you more confident to help me, here's a confirmation letter from ASSE Estonia NGO: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6u4zxjTwVV_VVNkV...
