Anemos Racing Team / F1 in schools Greece

Anemos Racing is a Greek team consisting of 3 Passionated students from Anatolia College in Thessaloniki. Anemos racing team competed in the 2019 F1 in Schools World Finals in Abu Dhabi. We are very proud of our team! Having the second fastest car and being 13th among the 55 teams!

Our team is preparing now for the Greek National F1 in Schools competition. Our Team mission is to show the world that Greece and its young people can lead the way globally for engineering, science, business, marketing and innovative thinking. A major component of the F1 in Schools competiton requires teams to generate the funding to compete in every aspect of the competition entirely from their own business acumen. We must raise all the funding to cover our participation fees, competition costs, accomodation and flights over the coming months.

F1 in Schools is recognised globally as the premier competition for young people promoting participation in STEM subjects and career paths. In this multi-disciplinary challenge we deploy CAD/CAM software to collaborate, design, analyse, manufacture, test, and then race our miniature CO2 powered F1 car. As well as the design and manufacture of our car, there is a huge business aspect to this competiton where we will be judged on Verbal Presentations, Portfolios, Marketing, Social Media, Pit Display and Team Identity. The Challenge inspires students to use IT to learn about physicis, aerodynamics, design, manufacture branding, graphics, sponsorship, marketing, leadership/teamwork, media skills and financial strategy and apply them in a practical, imaginative, competitive and exciting way. A major component of the F1 in Schools cmpetition requires teams to generate the funding to compete in every aspect of the competition entirely from their own business acumen.
