Andre Levens Cancer Treatment

In late December, after a hellish trip to the Steve Biko Academic Hospital emergency room, our resident Piss Man and sweet baby Andre Levi Levens was diagnosed with Stage 3C germ cell testicular cancer. Unfortunately, at Stage 3, the cancer has also spread to Andre's liver, lung, and lymph nodes. Apparently, 2020 had to sneak in one final kick in the ass before it was over.

Andre returned to home to be with his family and started treatment this week at CANSA in Johannesburg. While he is in great hands at the hospital, his three-month chemo treatment will be followed up with surgery at the Steve Biko Academic Hospital, making for an exhausting and expensive start to 2021. In addition to the costs of chemo and surgery, there are also the costs of medications, a hospital stay at CANSA, hospital stays at the Steve Biko Academic Hospital, and, for his family, supporting Andre.

Andre and his family need our help. Our goal is to ease the financial burden of hefty medical bills and living expenses during treatment so he can rest and focus on recovery.
