Andre Boonzaaier – Volunteer in Isreal to help the elderly

Heartfelt greetings all. So, alot has happened over the last 3 months since my late Dads' passing. I wanted to share with you, a seed birthed in me more than 20 years ago. As most of you may know the life i lived was one of tremendous "challenges" shall we say, for a better choice of words. I lived a life of an addict my whole life...its the only life ive ever known. God mercifully & graciously delivered me from a life of utter destruction & chaos! Today, i share my experiences & teachings with anyone looking for hope & a fresh start where the slate is wiped clean. This brings me to what God had birthed in my heart more than 20 years ago. Ive always wanted to visit Israel, but more as a holiday destination, untill i experienced a calling in my mid 20's to help those less fortunate & share the gospel of Christ. I kept putting it off, that was untill recently i received a link to ' Volunteers Israel', & knew, there & then that this was what i wanted to do. I did some research & made contact with their Director, Miriam Markus. I requested all the relevant info, got my Pastor to assist me, & got the proverbial ball on the roll so to speak. You're probably wondering by now why im posting this? Well, thats where ONE, OR MAYBE MORE OF YOU FEEL IT ON YOUR HEART TO ASSIST ME PLEASE? As a volunteer, i make my own way to & from Israel. I must provide my own travel & medical insurance. There is a fee payable to the organization too. I need to renew my passport, & apply for a police clearance certificate that stipulates i have no record. There are many other costs involved that i must carry. This is a simple request. Many of you will read this, a handfull of you will reply with condescending, patronizing & judgemental replies...one or two of you will actually offer me assistance. Im making a bald, courageous & heartfelt plea to any of you reading this who feels an unctioning in their spirit to help me fulfill a life-dream please? What im doing, is giving back. Its not glamarous, i don't get paid to do what im doing. Im just giving my heart & limbs to someone who needs it more than i!
