Ancillary health care refers to the wide range of healthcare services provided to support the work of a primary physician. Functions include performing a variety of tasks, assessments, specialized exams, and client education; developing and managing programs in the health care industry; and providing patient's with various home based services. Services include, but not limited to, the following :

Home health care services
Hospice care services
Medical day care (adult and pediatric)
Orthotics and prosthetics
Personal care assistant services
Private duty nursing
Rehabilitation services (inpatient and outpatient)
Skilled nursing services
Substance-abuse services (inpatient and outpatient)
