Hola, mi nombre es Ana Medina Sánchez, soy Venezolana, y quiero pedir su atención por un momento y hablarles de la razón de éste fund me, les explico simple, tengo una Enfermedad Inflamatoria Intestinal (EII) llamada Enfermedad de Chron.

La enfermedad de Crohn, es una enfermedad inflamatoria auto inmune, que causa inflamación en las paredes del tubo digestivo, desde la boca hasta el recto, causando unas heridas llamadas aftas porque literalmente es el mismo tipo de daño, ya que va abriendo capita por capita de la piel del intestino hasta que puede llegar a perforarlo, y bueno lamentablemente eso fue lo que me sucedio, fue generando estas heridas hasta que creo una perforacion con un caminito que es llamado "fistula", esto hace que genere fluidos, mucho dolor y aumenta muchísimo el daño de infecciones, no absorción de nutrientes y vitaminas, y problemas para digerir los alimentos. Tengo desde el año 2015 con este diagnostico, estuve hospitalizada por 2 semanas en Diciembre, donde se me practicaron los examenes necesarios para su diagnostico, colonoscopia, con biopsias, y resonancia.

Luego de esto se me colocaron varios tratamientos que no funcionaron por lo que los medicos decidieron indicarme biologicos, que es un tipo de medicina que actua inhibiendo el sistema inmune para que este pueda dejar de producir las celulas que generan la inflamacion y que hacen que se rompan las capas del intestinto. Este tratamiento es muy costoso y nunca lo hubo en el pais, consistia en mezclar Azatioprina 50mg, dos diarias, con un tratamiento indefinidio de Infliximab (biologico) o Humira (biologico) hasta hacer entrar en remision la enfermedad y poder operar y cerrar la fistula, pero al no haber recibido el tratamiento correcto, ni constante, sino solo la Azatioprina y en gran parte por donaciones de ciertas fundaciones cuando llegaba al pais, pues he recibido ya 2 cirugias, que solo consisten en la colocacion de algo que los cirujanos llaman "seton" o sedal, que es una cuerdita de seda, que se coloca a lo largo del camino de la fistula, para impedir que se generen absesos, infecciones, o acumulacion de fluidos.

Esto es un paliativo pero no proporciona sanacion o cura para la misma. Y de no recibir el tratamiento adecuado, tendria que todos los años cambiar estas cuerdas (setones) y recibir mas cirugias con el riesgo de generar ciertos daños irreversibles o crear mas fistulas, lo cual de verdad seria muy dificil de afrontar para mi, ya que no tengo los recursos para asumir tal cuadro, ni bolsas de colostomia, o las consecuencias de tener mas fistulas. Ya de por si es dificil tener este cuadro que he llevado por estos años, y aplaudo a aquellos que al igual que yo luchan con esta condición y muchas mas fistulas o con recesion intestinal, que es otro de los riesgos de esta enfermedad, la perdida de cualquier segmento intestinal, que tenga que ser removido por completo, como les digo es muy dificil de lidiar por el dolor, y la dificultad de absorber nutrientes, lo que hace que mi hemoglobina este en 6 y eso es otro riesgo de operarme. Ya que una hemoglobina tan baja es un peligro potencial. Por la anemia constante me recetaron hierro intravenoso y vitaminas B12 semanales lo que es imposible de conseguir en este pais. Siempre tengo resfriados y virus, ya que tampoco existen las vacunas pertinentes para un tratamiento con inmunosupresores, y no existe en general alimentos para poder llevar una dieta adecuada y si los consigo son extremadamente costosos, ya que con esta condicion es poco lo que puedo comer.


El plan medico consiste en un gastroenterologo que es quien evalua y lleva la evolucion del crohn, un cirujano que es quien evalua y lleva los efectos fisicos y el las visceras para su posterior cirujia o evalua que este funcionando el tratamiento paliativo con setones, un nutricionista que evalua mi peso y alimentacion, y examenes de sangre y reactivos al crohn cada 15 dias, para evaluar como va mi hemoglobina y como reacciono al tratamiento.

El riesgo de esta enfermedad si no es tratada correctamente es la muerte. Ya estuve cerca de ello en 2015 cuando llegue a pesar 28Kg por el mismo problema de la mala absorción, sangrado constante, inflamacion en los ojos, la columna y la piel, todos sintomas del crohn, y todo lo que comia, lo vomitaba.

Pude recuperarme poco a poco y ganar pero e ir comiendo mas cosas con el tratamiento de Azatioprina que hizo efecto a los 3 meses, poco a poco, ha sido lento, pero gracias a Dios que ha funcionado en su forma, pero mis medicos dicen que les falta un empujon, para poder eventualmente cerrar mis fistulas y mejorar mi hemoglobina, por lo que aumentaron la dosis al doble, ya sin esperanzas de que aparezca en el pais Humira y lo necesario para colocarlo.


Se lo que es estar tan mal que no puedes ni siquiera levantarte solo, sentarte o moverte.


He pasado por muchas etapas y terribles y dolorosos momentos con esta enfermedad, lo cual me ha hecho sentir orgullosa de hoy poder tener fuerzas y ánimos de escribirles esta petición y pedirles su ayuda para que por favor con lo que puedan, lo que sea que puedan aportar, bienvenido sea, y asi pueda tomar ese empujon y poder tener una mejor calidad de vida por fin. 3 años de mucho dolor y sufrimiento, pero he luchado y sigo luchando, mi familia es muy bajos recursos, y mis padres están en tercera edad ya, sin embargo se hace lo que se puede, pero es difícil en la situacion actual del pais,

Soy una estudiante de 3r año de psicologia en la Universidad Central de Venezuela, con un record academico de 16, hablo ingles y español avanzado, me gusta tocar el piano y amo aprender cosas y generar nuevas fuentes de relaciones y ayuda comunitaria, mi meta es ser psicologa social, me gustaria poder estar sana y culminar mis estudios, y de alguna forma poder llevar una vida cercana a lo normal y estable, ya que como toda condicion si se tienen las condiciones necesarias, puede llevarse una vida bastante buena, sin embargo mi pais en estos momentos niega el minimo de requerimiento para esas condiciones, ya que no hay ni agua potable, se que hay muchas campañas de esto de mi pais, y es muy doloroso de observar, pero estar enfermo en venezuela de una condicion que sabes que en cualquier pais podrias tener una calidad de vida nastante aceptable con tus medicinas y alimentos adecuados y una cirugia exitosa con el plan de accion, hace que realmente sea triste para mi y todos los que nos encontramos en esta situacion en este pais.

Me gustaria poder utilizar mis herramientas para luchar por mi vida y poder ofrecer todo lo que tengo pero no ha podido ser por estos 3 años. El diagnostico medico se dirige a un plan de 4 tabletas de Azatioprina por dia, por 6 meses, examenes cada 15 dias, una dieta estricta, ejercicio, dormir bien, y revision medica 1 vez al mes con cada medico, aparte de vitaminas B12 y hierro y omeprazol. Esta enfermedad tiene muchos subtipos, les explico, ella ataca por segmentos, asi que puede ser segmentada, por lo que no todos los crohn son iguales o sufren el mismo daño, en mi caso es un crohn ileo colonico, en fase II porque ha sacado fistula, lo cual le da nombre y apellido de: enfermedad de crohn ileo-colonica (por las partes que afecta, ileon y colon) y es fitulizante porque saca los conductos que les explique antes, puede causar desde diarrea, sangrado y obtruccion, hasta algo que se llama estenosis, que es que el intestino se reduce tanto en su inflamacion que impide el paso de la digestion, causando obstruccion muy dolorosa e inevitable perdida de esa parte del intestino con riesgo de sepsis. Por ello se quiere evitar que al no recibir el tratamiento o atencion necesarios mi crohn pase a fase III que es un crohn llamado estenosante o obstructivo y hace eso que les acabo de explicar, ahi simplemente la persona va perdiendo partes de su intestino por cirugia para sobrevivir, y es realemnte dificil de manejar con tan poco presupuesto.
Entonces en este momento el cuadro es este: anemia cronica, enfermedad de crohn ileo colonica fistulizante, fistula compleja. El tratamiento 4 pastillas de Azatioprina diaria, 1 inyeccion de B12 a la semana, dieta estricta, visitas constantes al gastro y cirujano, examenes cada 15 dias de seguimiento de anemia.
Pero el pronostico a pesar de todo podria ser bueno si se cumple en estos 6 meses, para poder operarme definitivo y no tener que colocar otro seton que haria que tenga que recibir otra cirugia el proximo año.
Si existe alguna duda coloco todos mis documentos, contactos verificables, costos verificables. testigos y fotos de lo que he pasado con esta enfermedad y porque me siento con el favor de Dios esperanzada a que asi sea con un granito de arena se pueda lograr esta meta.
Mi mamá, que ha pasado tanto conmigo en hospitales, mis mejores amigos sin los que no habría llegado hasta aqui en muchos sentidos, ya que me han ayudado con lo que han podido pero esto se les escapa de sus manos, y han tenido esta maravillosa iniciativa que les aplaudo, ¡estamos unidos en esto!, y ¡les sabre agradecer a todos ustedes! porque creanme que le haré saber al mundo lo feliz que estare de poder estar sin dolor y sin cirugías ni dispositivos constantes y querre compartirlo con uds, porque todos han sido parte de mi recuperacion poquito a poquito.

But the forecast in spite of everything could be good if it is fulfilled in these 6 months, to be able to operate definitively and not have to place another seton that would make it have to receive another surgery next year.
