'An Internal Kung-Fu Experience!'
Our mission is to bring together a select group of Masters of Internal Martial Arts from across the country to Kansas City for a once-in-a-lifetime event! A portion of ticket sales will go to benefit Pushing for Peace, a program that teaches Tai Chi movements and philosophy to prevent violence and increase mental and physical health. The 'Experience' is a 3 day seminar based event featuring classes in Tai Chi, Push Hands, Bagua, Hsingi, Quigong, 18 Lohan, Internal Short Staff, Gongfu Tea, Food & Nutrition Therapy, and Peace Games! Taught by revered Masters; Lester Holmes, Marilyn Cooper, Tashi Lam, Lloyd Day, James Gorden, Fred & Sandy Weaver, and Modesto Castellano!
...but that's where we need your help to make this dream a reality! We need funding for Air Fare or other travel expenses, accommodations, site rental, food for the event, T-Shirts, a banner, signs, insurance, advertising and miscellaneous supplies. Basically the logistics to make this event happen! Never before have I seen or been a part of such a collaboration of Masters of different arts, genres, & schools, selflessly coming together in the spirit of openness and sharing of knowledge and skills! It is truly exciting to see how this event will shape generations of Martial Artists to come!
