An Extraordinary Father with Stage 4 Cancer

Good day community!

Achilles Santiago, from Cebu City, is the name of my friend, mentor, religious leader and someone i consider as a father figure. He is currently battling Stage 4 Kidney cancer also known as Renal Clear Cell Carcinoma.

It all started last year when he was experiencing abdominal pains, and was diagnosed with gal bladder stones. However, earlier this year in February, during his lab tests, they found a tumor in his right kidney and was then diagnosed with Kidney Cancer. He is currently taking medications, which cost more or less Php 100,000 a month. He started his medication in March and is still taking them up until today.

It's been hard for them financially to keep up with the medical expenses, and just today while writing this, he is in the emergency room preparing for a surgery to remove his right kidney (where the tumor is) and gal bladder. For this operation he needs Php350,000 or around $7,220. In which they will need as soon as possible, preferably in a month's time.

We opened this fund raising hoping that we may ask your kind hearts to help and support Brother Achilles in his battle with cancer, to support in providing his medications, and other medical expenses he will be needing. Any amount will be much appreciated by him and his family.
