URGENTLY need to expand and upgrade the 1-Stop Animal Shelter!!! (and buy food!)

Hello and thank you for taking the time to visit our campaign.

With this campaign we are trying to raise money for an animal shelter in dire need, so please read on!

As you know, we are approaching the festive season, and while it is a time for us humans to kick back and relax after a hard year, partying and enjoying the festivities, it is unfortunately also a time for anxiety and stress for our furry friends...

Just imagine, your family leaves on holiday, you do not know what is going on or why, you stress, you freak out, and of course, you just HAVE to try to find them, they must be just on the opposite side of this fence, right? Must...get....out!!! Now if you just follow this big black road, surely they should be right down the street? Maybe down this street?? Oh no!!! You are lost!!

You are alone, you are scared out of your wits, and you are HUNGRY!!!! And if that's not bad enough, suddenly there's loud bangs and fire in the sky, huge explosions and flashes, people driving around in the streets hooting and cheering! WHAT IS GOING ON?!?! IT'S SO LOUD, MAKE IT STOP!!!

This story usually doesn't have a happy ending....

Christmas season is a time when hundreds of poor animals get lost because of fear or stress, and end up loose on the streets, famished, scared and alone, and eventually... probably dying of hunger or getting run over in a street.

Which is where the animal shelters come in, and for this campaign I would like to highlight one shelter in particular that direly needs assistance. It is a shelter run out of pure love for animals, by an amazing lady called Mandi, along with a few volunteers, funded solely by the salary she generates from working at the local vet and donations.

Mandi has dedicated herself to giving the lost or unloved animals a safe place to sleep and making sure they have food in their bellies, as well as all the love she can give them.

But it's a hard job, every day more and more dogs end up at the shelters, and space is an ever-present problem. On top of this there are vet bills, food, rent to be payed, and all manner of other costs that just keep sky-rocketing!!

As we get ready for this festive season, how about we spare a thought for Mandi and her animals, and help her to make the festive season a jolly time for our beloved fur friends too? A little really goes a long way, and it surely is better than nothing!!

Please open your heart and lets show these animals that life CAN be good!!

And please, Adopt, Don't Shop!!! Please don't give animals as gifts this christmas!!

What the funds will be used for:

All funds will be used towards funding the shelter's running costs. First and foremost the shelter will be upgraded to ensure a safe, secure, cozy and dry sleeping place for the animals. Also, funds will be allocated towards vet bills and related costs, and keeping the animals fed and happy. And treats! Lots and lots treats!
