Campaign Story
Why I'm Here
Thank you very much for looking at my page and considering a donation to help us find an end to breast cancer. My family recently suffered a loss due to breast cancer - our amazing and wonderful Aunt / Sister / Daughter / Mom / Friend, Christine. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in late November 2012, and passed away on July 7th, 2013. My aunt left behind three young boys and an entire family who is still coping with the loss. She had a rare complication in which the disease spread from her breast, to her brain and then to her spine (leptomeningeal carcinomatosis).
What Are We Doing? In honor of this strong and incredibly loved woman, my family and I are participating in the "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk in St. Louis, MO on October 26th, 2013. We will walk in honor of Chris and want to raise as much money as possible to help individuals currently fighting this disease and to advance research to help these woman have more time with their families. We apprecitate any donation, small or large. And if you're in St. Louis - please feel free to join the walk with us and the other participants - it's free!
Again, thank you for taking the time to read about our fundraising project. If you provide a name with your donation we will include you on our personal fundraising website.

Chris Agee was an amazing and incredible woman. She was so strong during her illness; an inspiration to others. I am blessed to have known her and think of her often. Thank you, Jessie, for giving me the opportunity to honor her and to help fight this horrible disease. Vickie Schottenhaml
