Dear friends and everyone,

Our father, Nelson Abitong, had been diagnosed of Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia, a type of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, wherein the cancer cells make large amounts of abnormal protein called a macroglobulin. A rare kind of cancer that begins in the white blood cells. This type of cancer forms in the lymph system, which is a part of the body's immune system.

Doctors took almost 2 ½ months to determine the kind of sickness our father is suffering from. Numerous laboratory tests were done including bone marrow tests, CT scans, countless Blood tests, Liver tests, Spleen tests and many many more.

He is now undergoing chemotherapy; he just finished his 5th and the doctors want to give him 19 more. Each therapy normally costs P98,000 (roughly USD 2,000). While kind-hearted individuals had been willingly helping us secure some subsidies, it is simply NOT enough to cover the enormous expenses related to our Papa’s treatment. We are at the end of our human capabilities to finance such a huge financial obligation.

We would like to see our Papa get healed from his sickness so we can continue experiencing his love and care for us. It is for this reason that we are appealing to you and knocking at your merciful hearts to help us. Any amount will go a long way in our dream and wish to see him cured.

Our trust and faith in the Almighty and the full generosity of good-hearted individuals have brought us this far. We will continue trusting in His mercy while we also continue knocking at your hearts for much-needed help.

Any amount you would like to share us is an enormous help in our fight and struggle to see our Papa healthy once again. May God reward you a million times more.

All donations will be used purely for medical reasons.
