AN APPEAL TO FUND OUR ELDERLIES’ HUMANE MUTUAL COOPERATION PROGRAM

For the past 26 years, Caloocan City-wide Cluster of Christians-In-Action for Senior Citizens, Inc., comprising of various senior citizens associations from different barangays situated at Caloocan City, both District I and II, staged a city-wide fund campaign and establish a systematic procedure wherein the city elders can participate in a MUTUAL COOPERATION PROGRAM geared to extend sympathy and financial assistance to the bereaved families of the departed association members. From June 9, 1995 to December 31, 2019 the Cluster donated, to the last cent, a total amount of P 4,583,617.00, to 2,216 grieving families by encouraging more than two thousand strong senior citizen members to share One Peso per Departed Member.

Since February 2020 up to present, during this time of pandemic, our organization is facing a predicament in the conduct of house to house collection of donation to be given to the orphaned families because our senior citizen community leaders are not allowed to go outside due to health protocols imposed by the government. In addition, the number of qualified death beneficiaries are constantly increasing.

Though we are currently existing legally as an entity and actively conducting online meetings, we need to address our organizational concern in helping our senior citizen members and to perpetuate our noble and monumental open-handed activity.

In this connection, the Caloocan City-wide Cluster of Christians-In-Action for Senior Citizens, Inc. would like to express our collective appeal for your humanitarian and financial support for us to be able to continue our 26 years old charitable endeavor. Your monetary aid and kindness will surely inspire our senior citizens to further pursue our commitment to community service. Praying that you may find our appeal worthy for your favorable approval and provision. We are more than willing to hear from you as an answered prayer to our elderlies’ plea for Divine intervention to help us achieve and attain our chosen Christian mission.

Our goal is to:

Gather a donation amounting to FIVE HUNDRED THOUAND PESOS (P500,000.00) that will be given to 300 grieving families.
