Hi everyone,

I am raising money to fund my volunteering project to teach English to disadvantaged children in Bali.

On the 20th August 2016 I will be volunteering for 2 weeks as a teacher within a school located in the Tabanan region of Bali to assist the children with their English in a fun and exciting way. The standard of education in Bali is no where near as advanced as it is here in the UK, therefore I want to go to Bali and help change the children's lives by giving them the opportunity to learn and gain an education!

As most of you already know, I'm currently studying towards a degree in Primary School Teaching at Nottingham Trent University. In order to gain a place on my PGCE course and become a fully qualified teacher, I need valuable teaching experience to make me stand out from the rest of the applicants and guarantee me a place. Therefore teaching in Bali will not only provide me with this valuable experience, but also give me an insight into a completely different way of life and Balinese culture.

This will be an amazing opportunity, however as it is 'volunteering' I need some help funding the project. I have expenses such as program fees, flights, visas and injections. As I'm at University I simply cannot fund everything on my own, this is why I'm asking for your support.

I would be extremely grateful for any donations to help me afford this amazing opportunity and I'm sure the Balinese children will also be grateful for the education they receive because of these volunteer projects.
