Friends of Amy Taylor, thank you for taking the time to read this and potentially donate to Amy’s medical cost.
For the last year Amy’s health has been chronically poor. She suffers from nasal polyps that are now blocking 90% of the breathing ability in her nose. This results in her feeling constantly fatigued, intense congestion and at times experiencing difficulty breathing at all. If left untreated this condition could lead to impaired vision and chronic pain.
After trying over the counter solutions, homeopathic healing and ultimately consulting specialists, she has learned that the only course of action left is surgery. Because these polyps are situated close to the brain, this surgery requires advanced imaging technology and will cost $20,000 (excluding pre and post-surgery care.) Amy has already racked up a significant amount of health bills pursuing treatment. As a freelancer, Amy does not have health insurance and with this preexisting condition she is unlikely to get it any time soon. Her doctor has recommended that she consult a resident at a public hospital for something more affordable. We, as her friends, don’t feel like this is an appropriate time to cut costs.
That is why we are turning to you. It may take a village, but we think we can get her closer to clear breathing and being able to feel okay again. If you could donate your coffee money for the week, or pass this website along to friends who you think would sympathize with her situation, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you again for your time. We appreciate any contribution or positive thought you can send her way.
