So it's that time of year again - the second time I'll be running the Brussels 20km! As per the last time, I'll be running for a charity here in Belgium called 'Opération Thermos', a charity which helps to make the homeless and poor of Brussels feel a little more human. Their work involves distributing hot meals during the winter in one of the metro stations, offering a warm welcome to those who would otherwise be stuck out in the cold with an empty stomach, alone. There isn't a great deal of help for those in need in Brussels, and Opération Thermos ensure that these people are cared for. It's a great cause!

My fundraising goal is €200*, and my goal time for the 20km is 2:15:00, without dying, of course!

If you'd prefer to donate straight to the charity themselves, they're offering the following:

€ 5 = a hot meal for one person next winter
In return: all our gratitude

€ 10 = a hot meal for 2 people next winter
In return: all our gratitude + the smiles of the runners

€ 20 = a hot meal for 4 people next winter
In return: all our gratitude + the smiles of the runners + the recognition of our beneficiaries

€ 50 = 10 hot meals for the underprivileged next winter
In return: all our gratitude + the smile of the runners + the recognition of our beneficiaries + the autographed photo of our best runner at 20 km

€ 100 = 1 / 5th of a complete distribution i.e. hot and full meal for 100 people (soup, hot dish, coffee and dessert)
In return: all our gratitude + the smiles of the runners + the recognition of our beneficiaries + the autographed photo of our best runner at 20 km + a photo shoot with our mascot "Nouritos"

€ 500 = a full distribution evening, i.e. a hot and full meal for 100 poor (soup, hot dish, coffee and dessert)
In return: all our gratitude + the smiles of the runners + the recognition of our beneficiaries + the autographed photo of our best runner at 20 km + a photo shoot with our mascot "Nouritos" + your name or your logo on our site and social networks

€ 1000 = 2 full distribution evenings, i.e. hot and full meal for 100 poor (soup, hot dish, coffee and dessert) 2 times
In return: the whole x 2

If you prefer to do it this way, send your donations directly to the charity's bank account:

*NOTE - the minimum goal allowed by the site is €251 (it has to be more than €250), but my original goal was €200. Of course, if we can smash €200 and get €251... well... that would make the pain worth it!
