American Boundary Furniture Start-up

American Boundary is a start-up 100% American furniture company needing money for marketing and production of store inventory. Jim Moore, the designer, is a JPL design engineer who has basically reinvented furniture as you will see in the video. He has made 18 prototypes of different pieces to date, so this is no pipe dream. Furniture buyers want to see,feel, test- so we need to get our furniture in the stores on consignment.

We will make upscale heirloom furniture that will last 100 years, you know, like people used to make. The LA market is at least $3M per year. New York about the same. The rest of the country another 3M, for a total of $9M, and we believe we offer the best of the best furniture money can buy.

Based on feedback (i.e at the Dwell show), your backing will enable us to reduce our manufacturing costs to 1/3 or less of retail by purchasing parts in quantity. It will enable us to protect our designs when needed, hire professional marketing help, go to shows and get our furniture into the best stores. And then... off we go!
