Ame needs IMMEDIATE surgery

Here is what I know folks.... Irene was contacted by a member of BTN last night. The member was eager to help a dog, who had been hit by a car and left for dead. The dog was suffering - in a great deal of pain. Plus, there was quite a bit of blood loss. Our BTN member took the dog to ER. The vet said Ame ((or Amy)--French word for Soul--- has broken femur - fractures in 4 or 5 places, a pnuemothorax, which is air in the chest cavity most likely from a collapsed lung. Poor dog also has a 40% loss of flesh mass on her front leg that needs to be debrided - cleaned of dying flesh. If we cannot fund raise --Ame will be euthanized which would be a huge shame because with surgery, her prognosis is good. We have just received an estimated cost of $10,000 with $5000 due TOMORROW, Because of the extent of the surgery she will need to remain in the hospital. She is in extreme pain and requires regular medication. This is a MASSIVE undertaking for BTN. Please share, please donate, donate donate.
