Amazon: a cry for help

Dear community,

We are a group of scientists, occupied about Biodiversity Conservation. We worked at

Considering the recent happenings to Amazon forest in the North of Brazil, we realize that we cannot rely on the federal government led by Bolsonaro. Deforestation in Brazil’s portion of the Amazon soared more than 88% compared to last year and we have to act quickly. So, we started this universal campaign with the goal of raising money to protect the Amazon.

With the money, we intend to:

- Maintenance and preservation of indigenous lands;
- Creation of environmental police bases in many parts of the forest;
- Establishment of firefighter bases for immediate help in case of fire;
- Installation of equipment for 24 hour site monitoring;
- Creation of scientific bases many parts of the forest, that can host scientists from all over the world;
- Development of sustainable tourism;
