Raising Funds For Mission Trip

With a heart for mission work, I wanted to take this step of faith into what God has called me to do. I am an individual who strives to possess an outward focus and expand my awareness and sensibility on the needs of other people. As an individual who also enjoys travelling, learning and

building relationships with different people across borders, this course I have chosen to do (Certificate III in Discipleship) allows me to value human life and communicate effectively in a country with different traditions and worldview to her own.

YWAM Newcastle grants me an opportunity to assist the needy and to gain a fresh perspective with a community that shares the same vision for the Lord.

Youth With A Mission is a non-profit Christian missions organisation who is the training provider of the course. They are spread all across the world in 180 different countries and have a focus on “knowing God and making God known.” YWAM Newcastle is a training centre that comes under this organisation. They focus on community development, youth mentoring, an international training and global outreach. YWAM DTS that I have applied for starting this July 2019 - Dec2019, is a 6-months course divided into a 3-month lecture phase and a 3-month outreach phase.

With the training that I will receive after I have completed the Certificate III in Discipleship, I would love to be involved in outreach where available. The conviction to share compassion and hope within my countrymen and people is a drive in me and the training provided in YWAM Newcastle is central to this aim.

In this time of prayer, I am trusting God for:

- $3000 (AUD) for my lecture fees. A time of teaching, reflection, and hearing from God. This excludes my own expenses throughout my 3 months in Australia. ( July-September )

- $5000 (AUD) for my outreach fees when together with the team at YWAM travel overseas for mission work. (September - December) The location and the exact amount has yet to be confirmed.

- $3000 (AUD) for living expenses, flight tickets, health examinations, vaccinations, and visa application expenses. (TBC)

I'm so excited for all God will do within this time of learning and thank you for being part of this Journey.
