Amariah is a 15 year old high school student. Her mother, Aisha, suffers from complications of Type 1 diabetes and is on dialysis awaiting a kidney transplant. Aisha only receives Social Security Disability and has struggled the past year paying for Amariah's school tuition. Aisha is in and out of the hospital with complications of her health and despite that, Amariah is a straight A student, was MVP of her JV cheerleading team as a freshman and started playing lacrosse as a freshman and was awarded Offensive MVP on her JV lacrosse team. Amariah is also part of the Community Service Club where she tutors elementary school children in math, helps with different special Olympics events. She now has been invited to join The National Society of High School Scholars. All of her hard work and accomplishments may come to an end if Aisha cannot come up with the funds to pay the back tuition from last year and the up coming tuition for 2018-19 school year. Amariah has an opportunity to also go to Italy the summer of 2019 with her class if the funds can be raised.

I am a single mother that wants the best for her child. I don't want her to end up in the neighborhood school, where someone got stabbed in the stairway. She is a bright girl, my only child and I would do anything for her. It's hard enough paying the bills and keeping food on the table with a once a month income. Any help to keep my daughter on her path to success would be more than appreciated. #NSHSS #MVP #COMMUNITYSERVICE #DIALYSISSUCKS #DIALYSISPARENT #SCHOLAR #CLASSOF2021

Final push

Update posted by Aisha Milliner at 06:02 pm

I thank everyone that shared and donated. There's still a chance for Amariah to return to her school if the past and current tuition is paid. So I'm asking for a final push to help generate more assistance. Everything raised so far has gone to the back balance so no

Help still needed

Update posted by Aisha Milliner at 12:04 am

I'm down to the wire. I just had to break my daughter's heart. I've been paying as much as I can on my own. Just put out $1200 last week. Now I need another $1000 by the 14th or she's withdrawn and can't attend camp with her team. She's devastated. . . . .

The payment deadlines are rolling in. I'm paying all I can each month, but it's not at the date it's due so then it's late fees. I'm praying for a miracle. I need some angels to help me, help muy child. She will be devastated of I can't keep her
