Amanda’s Way back Home

Hello to all who read,

So my story is strange and how I've gotten into this situation is complicated. I'll start out by telling you my story from the beginning...

A few years ago I had planned on taking a trip to Europe, as it had always been my dream, and naively purchased a credit card to help make that dream a reality. I had traveled around Europe for some time before deciding that I would fly over to Australia and work for a year to replinish the funds that I had spent while over there. So after about the second week of my arrival, I happened to meet the man of my dreams and absolute love of my life. While there we had worked and I was able to pay off a sliver of the debt that I had seemed to bury myself in, but only ever seemed to have enough to live off of. Ever since then I have just been drifting further and further into this moneyless pit. With all of these everyday expenses, I have just been over my head in debt and can not seem to find a clearing. Anyway, after the year in Australia came to its end, Alex and I knew that the only way to make things work between us was if I came with him to his home country in Germany. Embarrassingly his mother let us borrow money for the flight to Germany so we have thankfully been able to stay together thus far.. Being over here is absolutely amazing.. I find the European way of life to be much smoother than the hustle and bustle of American life.. but sadly since I've been here it's been a constant struggle to find work and get adjusted to the differences.. On top of this all, I haven't been able to see my family for over a year in a half and am missing them so unbelievably much.

Long story short, the reason I have decided to create a profile is with the hopes that someone is willing to help me see my family again. This amount that I am asking for is for the flights there and back, along with a bit to help me get on my two feet again. To help me stay afloat while I'm looking for work.

Every bit helps and I can never express enough how grateful I am for the donations. For all who deicde to help, I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart and want you to know that I will forever be greatful for your kindness.
