Thank you for your support and I had an amazing day on the 26th July. I managed to raise £150 and at our last count we have raised over £11k in total for the school!
I have now closed this page, but you can still donate on our main fundraising page at https://assets.gogetfunding.com/project/12-hour-dawn-breakers-for-icknield-school
Andover Martial Arts Centre is raising funds for Icknield School in Andover.
Icknield is a special school for young people aged 3-19 with severe learning difficulties. The school have been looking to get a new lift to help the children in heavier wheelchairs get in and out of the playground. AMAFC, on Brunel Gate West Portway, run by local Andy Lavery is looking to raise the £5k needed for the lift to be installed at the school.
In order to do this, AMAFC are organising an all-day charity event on 26th July 2014 where members of AMAFC's Dawn Breakers, Mums of Steel & Peak Kickboxing Classes will exercise in groups over the course of 12 hours. We need your encouragement and sponsorship for this hard event to raise money for a wonderful local cause.
Dawn Breakers is a 6-week Insanity style fitness challenge and I've loved taking part in two of them, so thought that being involved in this charity event would be a great way to give back to my local community. I would greatly appreciate any sponsorship to help us reach our £5k goal.
