Amadeus’ eye surgery

Amadeus is an 8 year young cat, living with me and my family (Emmie and the rest of the cats). When we went to the vet to give him his yearly vaccine and get a checkup, we were told that there is something wrong with his eye. Some of you might have noticed that his eye color has changed on his left eye, and when the sun shines on it, it becomes matte and white-ish. We have taken him to the vet to get this checked before, and were told it was nothing to worry about. This time on the other hand, we were told that this colorchange was signs of a tumor, and that we have to remove his left eye to prevent it from spreading. He also needs x-rays, bloodwork, and probably meds afterwards. This is really expensive and the insurance won't cover it.
