Alyx’s Ethiopian Adventure

Hello,During August of 2013 I will be visitng Andinet Elementry School in Gonder, Ethiopia. Whilst there I will be:Assisting in the build of classroomsImproving their water supplyBuilding some more toiletsRunning a six day summer school for the childrenAll of this work will greatly improve the school which is also used as the local orphanage, home to 60, it will greatly benefit the lives of all 266 pupils and will make their lives easier.I am taking part in this project with 13 other girls aged 16-18 and we are all member of GirlGuiding UK. We are participating in this trip through Link Ethiopia.To do all of this work I need to raise funds for the project and for my trip, this is where you come in, just donating £1 will help these poor children so much and help me to reach my goal of £2200.Any left over proceedings will be directly given to Link Ethiopia to assist them in their future projects.
