I am a Fashion Management graduate from George Brown College looking to find funding to start a fashion store in near my hometown, in Kingsville, ON Canada. I have been working full-time at a fashion store near my hometown since August, and on New Years Eve, the store burnt down. The cause of the fire was a BBQ in the back alley beside our store belonging to a neighbouring restaurant. The fire left the store totally ruined. The firefighters had to cut a 14ft hole into the ceiling to let out heat and fire because they could not open the front door or else it would've ignited the entire block. There is no salvageable stock, and basically the only surviving part is the foundation of the building. The restaurant's insurance will be covering the damages to the store and it will be rebuilt. The location has been around for over 15 years and is a staple in the town with a large following. However, the owners of my store have decided to not reopen this location and just stick to their main location they've had since the 70s in another town. They are looking to retire and are taking the opportunity to downsize. With this being said, they have offered to lease the space to me once it has been rebuilt. I will be able to delegate how the store will be rebuilt and the insurance will cover the rebuild. What will not be covered will be what I put inside the store, such as mannequins, tables, racks, cleaning and operational supplies, a computer and point of sale system, a sign and marketing such as flyers and business cards, and other various costs.I plan on optimizing their large following of women clientele and making it a full women's store. There will be women's fashions as well as lingerie. There will be accessories such as jewelry and purses, as well as shoes, nail polish, loose leaf tea and other etc items. I am familiar with wholesalers in Toronto and want to bring some new brands to the area. I will also keep some of the favourite brands that are already in the store. Another advantage I have to help me succeed is the experience I have accumulated through the Fashion Management program I graduated from in June 2013  and years of retail & fashion industry experience in Toronto at many different venues. Unfortunately, although this is my dream, it cannot be possible without money to pay for all my start up needs. Thanks for taking the time to read this and if you want to help my dream come true, please donate!   xo Alycia
