Always and Forever

That beautiful woman on my back is Alexis Jones. She just happens to be the most beautiful, intelligent, encouraging, forgiving woman I know, and I have the privilege of being her fiancé. For the last 4 years I have grown more and more in love with her and look forward to every single day as her husband. Our story however....is a hard one. This is our second shot at marriage. After preparing a year ago to become husband and wife, we were stopped in our tracks. Six days before our wedding date, we were told that there would be no wedding...and there was nothing we could do to change that. We were devastated, after paying thousands for honeymoon, church, a family car, attire, plane tickets for family,, it was all taken away from us. Couple that with a life saving, emergency surgery for her and the stress of having to figure out how to pick up the pieces and we eventually folded under the stress. I had lost my best friend. The summer of 2015 was the hardest of our lives...but it seems that God has a different plan. Through long conversations, tears, counseling, prayer and a lot of maturing, we are once again on the road to becoming one! I wouldn't trade this woman for anything and I can't wait to lead her for decades to come! In light of our second chance at love, trials have come again, but we're determined to push forward and make May 7th, 2016 OUR day. Lasting medical bills from her surgery, unexpectedly having to replace major parts in our car and other life circumstances have left us with nearly nothing in our savings; all of which was set aside for our wedding. After all that we've been through in the last four years, another postponed wedding would be devastating.

Please help us make this our year! We've worked so hard to get to where we are and would love to take the next step in our journey together. Anything donated would be put directly towards wedding expenses and would help us bridge the gap to make our dreams a reality!

With the little we have left, all there is to raise is $1500. A lot to earn in the less than a month, but we're hopeful that it can happen. Thank you so much in advance and know that we're beyond grateful for everything. Just know that you're helping make a life with my best friend a certainty!
