Kibbutz Alumot needs your help!

Our beloved kibbutz is located above the sea of Galilee, just about 5 miles from the Syrian and Jordanian border.

Our community consists of almost 500 people living together, and since October 7th we vave taken in and protecting an additional community from kibbutz Tzivon from the northern border with over 130 people that were evacuated from their Kibbutz due to the war.

After hearing the horrors that happened to our brothers in the southern Kibbutzim we vowed to do everything we can to protect our community! We now know that the community's security squad is the first and strongest line of defense that should be on the ground in case of further attacks against Israel.

We have many reservists who have been recruited to protect our country and we established our security squad with 12 volunteers who are skilled, experienced and former IDF (Israeli Defence Forces) soldiers with army rifles and 10 other armed with a personal handguns.

During the night and day we guard, patrol and train for the different Scenarios we might get into.

Following the situation right now, Security Forces, are allowing authorized security squad's all over the country to gear up and purchase much needed gear for the security squads. unfortunately and due to the ongoing war our financial resources are very limited and we are short on protective gear and lifesaving equipment.
