Alternate Histroy Novel – World War Two

Hi there Alternate History fans!
I have a novel that has been developing in my mind for over a year and I would love help to write it. The story is:

An Alternative History of the Vatican during World War Two.

If you are unfamiliar with "Alternate History" - it is the big "WHAT IF?"

I am fascinated with history and often wonder what would have happened if something had been different. World War Two is one of my favorite history periods.

I had been researching the concentration camps and the activities of the Vatican during the war.

The stand of a religious minority that wore the 'Purple Triangle' in the concentration camps is remarkable. They refused to join the army or work in the weapons factories. They refused even to say "Heil Hitler" since they believed it was a form of worship. For this they were sent to the camps to try and change their minds.

Also, the role of the Pope during the war is a matter of considerable controversy. There have been many books accusing and defending him in recent years. Some call him a Hero, others a Villain. (I suspect the truth is somewhere in between.)

Then the idea hit me for my novel:
"What would have happened if the Pope in 1939 had been a man who made the same stand as the purple Triangles?"
What if he had seen through the Nazis in advance and forbidden all Catholics to support Hitler in any way?
What would have happened to Hitlers ability to wage war?

It is a massive question that I have been researching ever since. I have accumulated a long list of important historical characters who supported or defied the Nazis who will feature in my book.
I have also an outline of how I imagine history would have played out. It results in a very different world indeed!

Problem: How can I afford the time to put all this onto paper? The many hours I have spent so far have only scratched the surface of this project!

Would anyone be prepared to help me financially to get this novel past chapter three?
Even a little support would motivate me extremely!

This has been a long introduction! (You can see I am a writer and when I feel passionate about something - the words just tumble onto the paper)
