My name is Navitha Ganesh. I am 23 years old. I have decided to become a chartered accountant in South Africa. Dispite being accepted into 2 of South Africa's best universities, I could not afford to go to school full time and had to do part time studying as well as working a full time job.

I have decicided to make this work for me by finding companies who offer SAICA articles to part time students so that I could complete my practicles and graduate within the same time limit as a full time student.

Unfortunately, there are some challenges that came along with this as there are only a few places which offered this type of practicals. Thankfully I have found a company and they have accepted me. This then required me to relocate as travelling from home to the area where the company is situated would have been a disaster.

I now stay with my boyfriend who works in the same area and is in the same predicament as I am, in terms of full time study.

I knew that relocating would come with its own challenges but i never realised how. I cannot afford to complete the last year of my degree. This is dissapointing to me as I still have a very long journey ahead of me, including my honours and 2 board exams. I have always been highly motivated to complete my qualification and I cannot slow down now!

I require R15000.00 for both semesters of 2020 which includes textbooks. I would be so grateful to everyone who is willing to help me achieve one of the biggest milestones in my academic journey.
