Campaign Story
I don't know where to start. My name is Meggi and my cat is Alma. We live in Gdansk, in Poland. Alma in Portuguese means Soul. Our family love this Portugal and all our cats have Portuguese names: Lisboa, Maliś which means malicious and Alma. Alma is the youngest, she is 9 months old. On the one hand she is quiet and sweet, she doesn't want to disturb anyone. On the other, she is like Rocky Balboa – she fights for her own and like a boxer puts her feet out.
There is a treatment that has cured many cats whom had FIP or it helps them to live much longer than they would but it has not been FDA approved. Since it hasn't been FDA approved it is not available in the Poland and we would have to get it shipped out of country to us. It is EXTREMELY expensive and I know I cannot afford it. But people who treated their cats with it have said it's so worth it - it takes away their cats pain and illness. So why wouldn't I want to do it?
I just don't know what to say. I am very shime that I have to ask You about money But Alma is my family. The Little Prince said: "You are responsible for what you have tamed." I have no other way. I have no other way to make my Beautiful Cat Soul healthy and happy again.
So if you can - please, help us. We will be grateful for every euro, dollar, zloty...
P.S.: If we lose the fight - we give medicines to the people in need, that are fighting for the lives of their beloved ones...
