Alliance Kids

We, at the Alliance Kids, believe that the children are the future of our church and community. We believe that it is our duty to train the young ones to be responsible and socially-engaging citizens, bringing light to hopeless situations by carrying the love of Jesus wherever they go and whatever they do.

This December, we are organizing a Christmas Musicale entitled, “The Gift of Christmas” to be held on December 14, 2019 at 8AM and 4PM in the Bacolod City Alliance Church. This eight-act play will feature classic Filipino Christmas songs, and will retell the story of the Nativity through songs and dances to be performed by children between the ages of 4-12 years old.

In this light, we would like to invite you to partner with us in this activity, which will not only remind our children of the real reason for Christmas, but will also raise funds for the renovation of the Alliance Kids Hub. We intend to open this facility to children from different faiths and backgrounds, and use it as a venue for life skills, values education and socially responsible activities. In so doing, we can share the good news of the saving love of Jesus to them and their families.

VISION

We envision a godly generation of children who will grow up to be men and women of character following in obedience to God. Children who delight in the WORD of God amidst a generationally troubling and challenging world of technological advances, moral degradation, spiritual decay and corrupted values.

We envision Alliance Kids as a central hub for children of Bacolod City, a safe haven catering to their spiritual, emotional and intellectual needs, as well as partnering with their respective families in these areas of growth. It is with an end goal that these children realize their fullest potential and God-given destinies.

We envision Alliance Kids as a community of families helping each other and building one another in love and service to our one true God, Jesus Christ.

MISSION: Our mission is to provide Alliance Kids avenues whereby there is a heightened personal experience with God supported by practical applications to deal with day to day life experience through:

Use of a chosen curriculum geared toward providing the children sound Biblical knowledge with the goal of actual experiential testimonies of a personal encounter with God. We believe that actual experiences with God, through Bible reading and answered prayers through practical life situations makes the biggest impact in the lives of the children.

Provide life skills training with the use of play and role-playing simulating real life chores and activities, inculcating discipline and passion for excellence.

Provide kid’s counselling and mentoring sessions especially for children nearing toward transitioning from adolescence to adult stage.

Provide a homeschool curriculum to support parents who want to take this route in educating their children.

Solidifying and engaging the families whose children are involved in the ministry through godly parenting and ancient path seminars, care groups, counseling and mentoring.

Provide avenues for the children to showcase their giftings to encourage involvement in ministries early on in their lives, like vacation Bible School, stage plays, music workshops, and other similar activies.

Provide training and seminars for teachers for training, updating and equipping.

FUTURE PLANS:

In the near future, Alliance Kids Church will eventually become an independent body running under the umbrella of an urban church in the heart of the city, Bacolod City Alliance Church. As a non profit organization, it will be the center of Godly activities for the children. From these activities, an opening of opportunities for ministry to invite the children and their respective parents to be a part of the dynamic missions sending church - BCAC. It will be self supportive and will be in the position of blessing its mother church because of overflow and communities through outreach opportunities, and sending children to Bible Colleges.
